Hunter Phipps

Hunter was born and raised in Greeley, Colorado and is the oldest of three siblings. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May of 2022 with degrees in News and Multimedia Journalism and Communication.

While at UNC, he was the sports director for his school’s broadcast show and is now excited to begin his journalism career here at KIMA and learn more about Washington.

Hunter loves to talk about sports and tell people’s stories.

In his free time, he loves to keep up on his favorite sports teams, explore outdoors, play a round of golf, listen to music or watch his favorite TV shows.
