Zillah police investigating toddler drowning
ZILLAH, Wash. - Zillah police are investigating after a two-year-old boy accidentally drowned, according to a report.
Action News has been informed the toddler, identified as Max McCullough, drowned Tuesday in Zillah.
Zillah Fire Chief Paul Stonemetz said a call came in of the drowning Sunday around 4:04 p.m.
Stonemetz said bystanders performed CPR on the child who was unresponsive.
Medics took Max to Children's Hospital in Seattle, where he died on Tuesday.
Max is now at the King County Medical Examiner's Office.
