HARRAH, Wash. – A 13-year-old boy who deputies say is suspected of robbing a home yesterday, is in serious condition, after being struck by a Yakima County Sheriff Sergeant's car.

It happened in Harrah in the 11600 block of Branch Road.

The sheriff's office says with the help of Yakama Tribal Police, they responded to a call of a home invasion, with reports of multiple suspects armed, at around 5:00 A.M.

A responding sergeant attempted to follow the suspect through a hay field, when they say he accidentally struck him with his car.
