Yakima police investigating Quick E Mart armed robbery
YAKIMA, Wash. - Police are investigating an armed robbery after they say a man held a store clerk up at gunpoint and stole money from a local mini mart.
The Quick E Mart at 616 S. 3rd Street was robbed just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, when a masked man pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, according to the Yakima Police Department (YPD).
The robber is described as a Latino man in his 20s or 30s, who was wearing a black ski mask, black sweatshirt and jeans at the time of the incident.
The man the left the store with an unknown amount of money.
A YPD K-9 searched the area and found potential evidence of the armed robbery but did not find the man.
