Yakima police investigating 7-Eleven armed robbery

YAKIMA, Wash. - Police are seeking information that could lead to the arrest of a man who they say robbed a Yakima convenience store at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

The Yakima Police Department (YPD) said the man pictured went into the 7-Eleven store at 1512 Summitview Ave., pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money.

The cashier then handed over money and the man ran from the store. Officers responded to the reported robbery around 12:35 a.m., but said they were unable to find the man after searching the area.

Police said the robber is described as a white man who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, black and white shoes, gloves and a black mask over his face at the time of the incident.
