Yakima Police arrest suspect that threatened family members
YAKIMA, Wash. —
Yakima Police arrested a 29-year-old man Saturday after he threatened to hurt his family.
According to the Yakima Police Department, the incident happened on the 800 block of N. 40th Ave.
Officials say they responded after one of the family members called 911 and said the man had a firearm and was threatening them.
YPD officers managed to safely move the man's family members out of the house.
After a two-hour negotiation, the suspect came out of the home and officers arrested him.
Officials say no one was hurt.
Police are still investigating.
