Yakima man arrested for failing to register following child rape conviction

Police say they have found and arrested convicted child rapist Bret Wyatt Neal.

A Yakima man convicted of raping a child is wanted since police say he did not register as a sex offender.
Bret Wyatt Neal, 59, is wanted as of Oct. 4 for failing to register with the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office after his rape conviction, according to police reports.
Neal is 5’9 and weighs 175 pounds.
Police said he has a tattoo on his upper left arm and scars all over his body including his arm, back and chest.
Crimes Stoppers says anyone who may have information regarding his location is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Yakima County at 800-248-9980 or online.
Those who report information could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.
