Roads open after hay truck fire caused six-hour closure at I-82 west
NEAR SELAH, Wash. - UPDATE: I-82 west is now open as of 6:30 p.m. after a hay truck fire caused both lanes to close for more than six hours at milepost 26 near Selah.
Transportation officials are keeping the left lane closed at milepost 7 near Ellensburg while crews clean up.
Both westbound lanes are expected to be open at 8 p.m.

Transportation officials say a hay truck fire has caused I-82 west to close at milepost 26 near Selah, Tuesday afternoon.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported the incident around 12:15 p.m.
Washington State Patrol, firefighters and WSDOT are responding to this fire, located 10 miles east of Ellensburg, near milepost 7.
According to a tweet, drivers heading west are being detoured to State Route 821 as an alternate route.
There is not a current estimated time of reopening.
