Two hospitalized in Selah car crash

SELAH, Wash. - Two people have been rushed to the hospital after authorities said a car collided with a truck in Selah.

Yakima County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Casey Schilperoort said the vehicles crashed at North Wenas Road and Gibson Road Monday morning.

Two people in the car received minor injuries after the car crossed the center line, striking the truck head-on, according to the sheriff's office. The two were taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The teen driver was ticketed for improper lane travel, according to authorities.

Investigators said no drugs or alcohol were a factor in this incident.
