Survivor cancels performance at Central WA State Fair
YAKIMA, Wash. - Organizers tell Action News legendary rock band Survivor is cancelling their performance at the Central Washington State Fair due to injury.
State Fair President Greg Stewart said Thursday a band member recently suffered an injury, forcing the band to cancel their appearance, which was set for Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. in Yakima.
State Fair organizers were first made aware of the cancellation Wednesday afternoon.
The Grammy winning group has had a number of hits over the years including “Eye of the Tiger,” “Burning Heart” and the “The Search is Over”.
Stewart says the act has been replaced with rock band Blood, Sweat and Tears to fill the Sept. 27 slot.
