Search team rescues family stuck in the snow on road off State Route 410

YAKIMA, Wash. - A search team has rescued a family whose vehicles became stuck in the snow on a U.S. National Forest road off State Route 410.

Reports said four people became stuck while driving a jeep on a road off SR 410, around 3 p.m., Sunday.

The Yakima County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Casey Schilperoort said one person in the jeep walked down to call their dad, whose vehicle also became stuck while trying to rescue them.

Those stranded then called YCSO around 8 p.m. YCSO's search and rescue teams were able to rescue the family.

No injuries were reported in this incident.
