YAKIMA, Wash. -- The fall season is in full swing. meaning there's some festive things to do with your family in the valley.
Barrett Orchards' Harvest Days are back for the month of October.
Every weekend, they invite the public to explore their pumpkin patch, hay maze, hay rides, and even get in on some good old-fashioned cider squeezing.
Owner Mark Barrett says he and his wife started Harvest Days, 14 years ago, as a way for families to spend quality time together, without breaking the bank.
“We decided just to make it free and open to the public, and those who can't afford to go to some of the places that charge the fees, we wanted them to be able to come here and just have a good family day,” he said.
The pumpkin patch, hay maze, and hay ride are free.
In November, they transform their barn at the orchards into a Winter Wonderland.
Barrett Orchards is located at 1209 Pecks Canyon Road in Yakima.
