SELAH -- Police say last Wednesday a man walked into the Selah 7-Eleven store armed with a gun and demanding money.
Witnesses say the man was wearing a camouflage jacket, camouflage pants, and a ski mask.
Police say he pointed a gun at the clerk and said "give me all your money."
He took the money and walked out.
But the clerk who was threatened said the man who robbed the store had been there just 30 minutes before and she knew he was Darren Lehmann.
She said he was wearing the same camouflage pants and that she recognized his eyes, and his voice, and said he was a regular customer at the store.
According the clerk, when he was at the store before the robbery Lehmann had asked if she would go out with him, and she told him no, saying she knew he was a registered sex offender.
She said he then left the store saying he had to go get some change, before returning wearing a ski mask.
Police checked out the surveillance footage and on Tuesday, Nov. 5, officers searched Lehmann's house and arrested him.
Officers say they found the camouflage clothing, a ski mask, and some BB guns at the home.
Lehmann is being charged with Robbery in the First Degree.
