YAKIMA Wa. -- Parents are invited to a mental health fair happening at West Valley High School.
This is part of a three-series event where the school is helping parents better understand their kids.
Superintendent Mike Brophy says they want to keep parents educated and give them as much information as possible.
“Mental health professionals, counselors who will talk to them about what some of the issues are for teenagers and even younger right now around mental health issues in the Yakima area, as well as offer services to parents," said Brophy.
They will also provide childcare and a light meal.
The event will take place at the school’s library next week on Tuesday from 6:30 to eight in the evening.
A version for Spanish speakers will take place Thursday at the same times.
Anyone from the community is welcome to stop by.
