Missing Yakima woman found shot to death on Yakama Reservation
YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. - A Yakima woman who was reported missing has been found shot to death on the Yakama Indian Reservation.
Yakima County Coroner Jack Hawkins said the body of 30-year-old Jedidah Moreno was found Nov. 28 at an area only available to tribal members.
Hawkins said Moreno had been dead for at least a few days before her body was found.
Moreno's family said she had not been heard from since September, according to police.
Hawkins said her autopsy was completed November 29.
The FBI is investigating Moreno's death as a homicide, with assistance from Yakama Tribal Police.
