Yakima police: Man shot multiple times, suffering with life-threatening wounds
YAKIMA, Wash. - Detectives are looking for suspects in a shooting that police say left one man critically injured during a social gathering.
Yakima police officers went to the 400 block of East "E" Street in response to a reported shooting in the area around 9:25 p.m., Tuesday.
Reports said officers found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. Medics took him to a local hospital with injuries that reports said could be fatal.
Investigators said the shooter likely confronted the victim during a social gathering then shot him and left the scene.
Relative and neighbor in the apartment said his son-in-law was playing dice with a couple of friends when another person joined them.
He said the man questioned one of the son-in-laws friends and then shot him shortly after.
Yakima police detectives are investigating this case.
