YAKIMA, Wash. - Police say they have arrested a suspect who attempted to rob a Jack in the Box restaurant in Yakima.

Yakima Police Lieutenant Mike Pollard tells Action News a man, later identified as 20-year-old Keenan Buchanan-Fulmer, entered the restaurant at 40th Ave. and Tieton Dr. Monday night, implied he had a gun to employees and demanded money.

Pollard said the employees did not hand over any money and Buchanan-Fulmer then ran from the scene.

Yakima police caught up to the suspect a block away from the restaurant and arrested him.

Pollard says Buchanan-Fulmer is booked at Yakima County Jail for first degree attempted robbery and resisting arrest.
