Local man sets house on fire; blames it on decade old dispute with brother

YAKIMA, Wash.-- Police say a local man burnt down his parents home yesterday, for something his brother did to him 10 years ago.

Police say 29-year-old Joel Cruz was home alone and got angry because his brother farted in his face a decade ago.

Police say Cruz then put a pot with vegetable oil on the stove, turned it on high, and ran out of the building.

Cruz told police he heard voices in his head and was put through a mental evaluation.
