Local clean air authorities urging locals to avoid outdoor burning this weekend
YAKIMA, Wash.- Clean air authorities are urging locals to avoid outdoor burning for the next few days .
The National Weather Service issued a air stagnation advisory Saturday for the county and other areas.
Due to limited movement in the air, it's created a higher chance for our air to jump to dangerous pollution levels according to the advisory.
The Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency has issued a stage one burn ban, and the air will be reevaluated again on Monday.
