Kittitas County Sheriff's employee arrested on alleged kidnapping
ELLENSBURG, Wash. - Ellensburg Police have arrested a 28 year-old woman and Ellensburg resident on charges following a two week long investigation.
Police announced on Wednesday that they have arrested the Ellensburg resident on charges related to Criminal Solicitation of Kidnapping 1st degree and Assault 1st degree.
According to the Kittitas County Sheriff's office the woman was a civilian employee and was taken into custody as she entered a residence where the police were waiting for her.
Chief Wade stated, “I appreciate the outstanding work the detectives did during this investigation and the support provided by Kittitas County Sheriff Gene Dana and his staff.”
She was booked into jail for attempting to hire individuals to commit several crimes, the most serious of which being Kidnapping and assault.
The investigating is on going.
