Granger shooting suspect in Yakima County Jail
GRANGER, Wash. - A suspect from Granger is arrested in the shooting that had left a man in serious condition.
The Yakima County Sheriff's office (YCSO) said responders found the victim suffering from life-threatening wounds at 500 block of Mentzer Avenue in Granger about ten minutes after midnight, October 11.
The Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force arrested the suspect, a 45-year old man from Granger, October 16, around 9:30 a.m. when he stopped at a business on North 2nd Street to pick up a check.
Deputies said the suspect is booked into Yakima County Jail on felony charges including attempted murder.
Investigators said the victim and the suspect know one another and live in the same building. YCSO reports indicate the shooting resulted from an argument between the two of them.
Medics said the victim is in stable condition as of Oct. 16 at Harborivew Medical Center.
