YAKIMA, Wash. - Antique hunters now have a reason to visit the Central Washington Home & Garden Show in Yakima.
The event that celebrates the craft of do-it-yourself home design is having it's 30th annual show at the Yakima Valley SunDome, from March 9-11.
Event leaders said they are debuting a new exhibit this year, called Antique Alley, where folks can shop some fine antiques.
Those interested in learning a new skill can also participate in a wood design class, but you must act quickly!
Engrained Wood Designs and Spirit In The Wood will offer piece of wood, mostly ponderosa or white pine, to create an inspirational quote on the wood, with three finishes to choose from: whimsical, beachy, or woodsy.
Leaders said spots for this class are very limited and anyone interested in registering can visit this link.
Tickets for the Home & Garden show can be purchased here.
The show runs Friday and Saturday until 6 p.m. and Sunday until 4 p.m.
