YAKIMA, Wash - The Davis High School art department invites you to "Creativity Runs Wild".

International Baccalaureate (IB) and advanced art students opened their exhibit on Monday evening with over 400 works of art on display with some of the artwork for sale.

The students' pieces are connected to a theme that they've chosen and have a cultural and global connection.

Davis senior art student Paulina Pacheco is proud of what she's accomplished in the program.

"I am proud of my ability to be creative and kind of think outside the box," Pacheco said. "I'm more open to new ideas and different ways of thinking now that I'm in the art class."

The exhibit is open to the public and runs through this Friday, March 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Davis HS Kiva.
