KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. - A Cle Elum woman has been severely injured after her car rolled from a curved road in Kittitas County.
The Kittitas County Sheriff said the 28-year-old woman was driving east on Lower Peoh Point Road Thursday afternoon when her car lost control at a sweeping curve and left the road to the west.
Deputies said the vehicle rolled multiple times before it stopped against several small trees.
The woman was flung from her car and responders found her in some trees near the collision.
The victim was left with severe injuries and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment, the sheriff said.
Witnesses in the area said they noticed the woman's vehicle going at a high speed just before the crash. It is unclear if the driver was wearing a seat belt, according to reports.
