Attempted kidnapping in Yakima County

YAKIMA COUNTY -- The Yakima County Sheriff's office says four men tried to abduct another man in Yakima county Thursday morning.

The sheriff's office says four Hispanic men wearing dark clothing and hoodies attempted to kidnap an adult man from his home located near Cornue Road and Houghton Road in Yakima County.

Deputies say the attempted kidnappers used weapons and threatened the man to try to get him to leave his home. He was able to secure himself and his family inside.

YSO says the four men then left the area in a white Chevy Tahoe.
