SELAH, Wash. -- Three members of a local family are dead in a tragedy at a home in Selah.

Police say they responded Thursday afternoon to a home on the 600 block of Speyers Road.

All but one family member was found to be unresponsive inside.

Two adults and one juvenile were not breathing and had no pulse.

Police say responders gave them CPR but all three were pronounced dead at the scene.

One juvenile girl was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

Although the cause and manner of these deaths is currently under investigation and will be officially determined by the Yakima County Coroner's Office, investigators suspect the deaths are related to carbon monoxide poisoning.

The identities of the individuals will be released by the Yakima County Coroner’s Office, pending notification of next of kin.
