KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. - Local crews are calling in state help to deal with the fast moving fire that's burned along I-90 last night and Monday morning.
Reports said flames in the Hult Butte fire burned along the side of the road roughly four miles west of Vantage in Kittitas County.
Crews said the brush fire started Sunday night and quickly grew to 1800 acres. Reports said the blaze is 30 percent contained.
The state Fire Marshal's office says it is threatening homes, a cell tower and infrastructure.
Families in 32 homes have been warned to be ready to evacuate.
