Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Kelley always knew she would rep the purple and gold and become a Husky. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences as well as a minor in Mathematics. Working mostly behind the scenes with weather data and analysis, it wasn't until she interned with ABC affiliate, KOMO-TV in Seattle, that she would realize her passion to become a broadcast meteorologist.
Throughout college, Kelley boxed for the Huskies and lead as a team captain in her senior year. Her most celebrated memory was winning a bronze medal at Nationals and becoming an All-American in 2014. Among a good workout in the ring, Kelley enjoys mountaineering and climbing. She has already reached the summit of both Rainier and Mt. Baker and has goals to summit the last three state volcanoes in the near future.
Kelley looks forward to getting to know this side of the state and the Tri-Cities and Yakima communities. Please don't hesitate to contact Kelley with fun or interesting story ideas!
