Photos: Seahawks put on a show at Sherman's charity softball game

TACOMA, Wash.--Seahawk loyalists are used to seeing cornerback Richard Sherman at CenturyLink Field on fall Sundays, bulked up with pads and shutting down wide receivers.

On this July Sunday though, fans got to see different side of one the NFL's top defenders.

Fans packed the house at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma for the Richard Sherman Charity Softball Game.

The "12th Man' turned out in full force to root on current Seahawks Sherman, Russell Wilson, Golden Tate and NFL greats such as Terrell Owens.

The funds raised are going to 'Helping a Hero' and other local charities.

People tailgated before the game, which blew Sherman away. He spent much of his time meeting fans and signing autographs.

"You can't find better fans than this," he said.
