State champ in hoops may not even hoop in college

Only KIMA with the coverage Sunday as the Yakima girls and boys high school All Stars split with the Tri-Cities in the annual Media Classic at YVCC.

The guys squad featuring Zillah senior Brady Widner, fresh off the Leopards' undefeated state championship run. Brady, a standout on the hardwood and on the grid iron.....still hasn't made his mind up which way he'll go in colllege and what school he'll be going to.
Brady Widner "Definitely going to continue football or basketball. Just don't know yet. What would be the determiner? I thought about football because it's the last time I can ever play. But, after state all those close games, how great it was. Still think basketball too. Just not sure. So, that might have shifted it a little bit. Ya. I don't know yet honestly."
There is interest in Brady the hoopster at the next level. But, already in hot persuit of his pigskin talents, Eastern Oregon University, Linfield, Whitworth and Pacific Luthern.
