Tuesday storm causes damage

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- Tuesday night's storm caused some damage throughout Yakima County, especially for one home in Selah.

A family had a large tree snap across the front yard on West Bartlett Avenue. It fell onto two cars and cracked a windshield. The daughter of the homeowner heard the crash and came running.

"A tree fell at the house and I'm like, 'What are you talking about?'" said Roberto Soto. "And she's like, 'Yeah, there's a tree that landed on the car' and so I come out and see all this."

The storm also caused a small mudslide on State Route 410 east of Chinook Pass near Pleasant Valley Campground. It temporarily blocked a westbound lane.
