People are already taking advantage of the newly resurfaced lot and added parking spaces. The number of sports more than doubled to over a hundred. People are happy they no longer have to park in the dirt lot.
"You save a little bit of gas, plus it's bigger so you have more space now. Not crowded or have to park over there in the gravel," said Junior Garcia.
The project took a week and a half to complete. A state grant paid for it.
