Oldest Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic gets a makeover

TOPPENISH, Wash. -- A $15 million dollar makeover is in the works for the oldest Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in the area.

Demolition work will wrap up this week to make way for a new clinic. Crews tore down the administrative offices and an old grocery store last month.

A larger clinic will take their place with more exam rooms and more dental chairs. The new clinic could be open by winter 2015.

The other two existing buildings will then be demolished to expand the parking lot.
