Man accused of robbing Yakima check cashing store appears in court

YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash. -- A court appearance today for the Selah man accused of holding up a check cashing store.

Yakima police say the 39-year-old used duct tape to tie up the clerks at the Cash Advance America on Friday night.

Police say he had a gun, but didn't make it far. He was arrested in a parking lot across the street.
