Kittitas County closer to decision on allowing ATVs on county roads

KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. -- Kittitas County is getting closer to a decision on whether to allow ATVs on county roads.

Commissioners approved the proposal, but that's not the end of it.

If it passed, ATVs would only be allowed on county roads with a speed limit of 35 mph or less.

Drivers would also need to have a license, and the vehicle would need a license plate.

A final decision is expected in the next couple of weeks.
