The expo had retailers and nonprofits, among other services. It's a one-day event for Yakima businesses to promote themselves. It was also an opportunity to network.
"Involving ourselves in the community like this year in and year out, spending the money to do that," said Charter Business spokesperson Tim Vick. "It's a great event."
"It's just a good way for us to get out in the community and see people face to face as well as the other business owners," said Active Life Chiropractic Dr. Nathan Coppock.
Free food, prizes and giveaways were also given at the expo.
