Want to attend the GOP caucus? Here's what you need to know.

WASHINGTON -- If you want to participate in the selection of the next Republican Nominee for President of the United States. You must attend the caucus on Saturday, March 3, 2012, commencing at 8:30 a.m. There is no presidential primary in Washington State this year. To make your vote count, you must attend the caucus.

While this is, technically a Republican caucus, you do not need to be a registered Republican. It is open to all registered Washington state voters.

Benton County residents have three sites: the Three Rivers Convention Center, The Barn Restaurant in Prosser and the Paterson School. These will start at 8:30 a.m.

Franklin County voters also have three sites: Chiawana High School, Basin City Elementary and the Connell Fire Hall. These will start at 9:30 a.m.

You do not need to register in advance. Participation is free.
