- Uncommitted, 3 delegates; 2 alternate delegates
"We had a lot of energy, a lot of youth, a lot of diversity," said Susan Palmer, Yakima County Democratic Central Committee Chair, about the Saturday caucuses in Yakima. "A little chaotic, but people were just in good spirits."
Next, legislative district chairs will host a legislative caucus on April 17 at 1 p.m. Once the locations are selected, the delegates and alternate delegates selected need to attend the meeting.
The caucus results coming just two days after Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders visited Yakima for a rally at the Yakima Valley Sundome. To watch highlights from his speech, click here. To watch the lines and crowds leading up to the event, click here.
