Zillah police investigating drowning death of toddler
ZILLAH, Wash. - Police in Zillah are investigating the drowning death of a two-year-old boy.
Authorities with the Zillah Police Department said two-year-old Max McCullough died Tuesday, May 29 at Children's Hospital in Seattle.
Police, firefighters and medical crews were called Sunday to a home at the 100 block of Reo Drive. A life flight helicopter took McCullough, who was unresponsive at the time, to Seattle where he died Tuesday.
Officials said this incident was accidental.
The Yakima County Prosecutor's Office is reviewing this case as standard procedure.
