Yakima will install signs at troubled intersection

YAKIMA, Wash. -- A troubled intersection will be improved next week. The problem is at Naches Avenue and Sergeant Pendleton Way.

There are no signs to show how close a car can park on the corners. Some parked cars may limit the view of the stop sign. It's a concern in an area that gets a lot of foot traffic.

"A lot of people that don't see the stop sign over there and they just cross by the street and they don't stop," said Augustin Borato.

Yakima Roads will install signs next week to better clarify the legal parking areas at the intersection.
