Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is hosting a breastfeeding group for all moms
YAKIMA Wash. -- Moms will now have the chance to join a breastfeeding support group to learn about the importance of breastfeeding.
The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is hosting a drop in breastfeeding support group which allows moms to ask question, get information and meet other breastfeeding moms.
According to a Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic press release, the group was formed to help give moms support in their breastfeeding journey.
“At Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic we recommend breast feeding as an optimal food source for an infant. Breast fed babies have lower rates of asthma, leukemia and even obesity," said Communications Coordinator Amber Betts.
The group takes place every Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon at their programs office in the Fiesta Foods Plaza.
This is a bilingual support group so all moms are welcome.
