Yakima Valley College Tuition Increases
YAKIMA Wash. -- Students will have to pay more for tuition this fall to attend Yakima Valley College.
Vice President of Yakima Valley College Tomas Ybarra says tuition for the 2017 to 2018 school year is increasing by 2.2%.
This means the cost per credit is set at about $105.17 for in-state students and a full-time student will pay $1,312.10 per quarter.
The change was made after the college board of trustees voted on Thursday for the increase.
The new tuition cost is set to begin the fall quarter of this year.
