Yakima Valley apple harvest wraps up

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Farmers finally finished a late apple harvest in the Yakima Valley. It wound up later than usual because it was such a large crop.

Farmers say there are at least five million more boxes.

That should translate into a profitable year for the Yakima Valley.

Overall, the national and international apple crop is down.
