Yakima supporters rally at May Day March

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Supporters of immigrant and workers' rights hit the streets of Yakima Thursday evening. They showed up for the annual May Day March.

Organizers expected thousands of people at the event to make a statement. They want all employees treated fairly on the job, regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and legal status.

Thursday evening's rally included speeches from local activists. The theme focused on justice for all workers.

The march made a loop that started and ended at Miller Park.
