Yakima police: Man injured in gang-related shooting
YAKIMA, Wash. - One person is injured in what Yakima police say is a gang-related shooting.
Officers with the Yakima Police Department (YPD) were called to a house the 1300 block of S. 11th Avenue around 8:56 p.m., Wednesday on a report of shots fired, police said.
Officers found a 37-year-old man outside of the house with multiple gunshot wounds.
Medics took the victim to Virginia Mason Memorial. At this time, officials say the victim is in critical condition.
Police said the shooting is gang-related.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black SUV.
YPD detectives are investigating to identify suspects in this shooting.
