Yakima police investigate Monday morning bank robbery
YAKIMA, Wash. - Police and K-9 units are at the scene of a credit union after a reported robbery.
Action News learned a man entered the Calcoe Federal Credit Union, located at 1209 N 16th Avenue, around 9:30 a.m. Monday and presented a note to a bank teller.
Police said the teller complied with the note and the man left the bank with an unknown amount of money.
The man did not show a weapon or imply that he had one, according to reports.
Detectives and a K-9 unit are at the scene investigating. They are looking for a man who was wearing a blue jacket at the time of the robbery. No other descriptions were readily available, but surveillance shows him holding a towel up to his face.
