The Commission held a special meeting to vote on the matter. It was a continuation of last week's hearing, when they said they needed more time to make a decision. Community members came out again this afternoon to give their input.
"How does this affect our community not only now, but for our children and our children's children, in terms of enrichment and a good foundation in life," said one community member.
The Planning Commission will recommend the ban to council at next week's meeting during another public hearing on the issue.
