They were taking part in the eighth annual "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes," an event where men literally walk one mile in high-heeled shoes to protest sexual assault and violence against women.
The marchers say the walk can be painful, but it's worth it to bring attention to a serious problem.
"You know, we just had a daughter, and I do this for her," said Michael Palencia. "You know, she's going to eventually grow up in this world, and unfortunately there's some bad people out there, and I want her to know that her dad's had her back since before she was born."
Organizers estimate between 60 and 70 people put on the high heels to take part in the march.
