Yakima man to serve over 12 years in federal prison for selling meth
SPOKANE, Wash. - A Yakima man is sentenced to 12 and a half years of federal prison for selling meth in the Yakima area.
Reports from the U.S. Department of Justice said Jose Alberto Abundiz, also known as “Scarface”, was sentenced October 18 after pleading guilty to meth distribution June 28, 2017.
U.S. District Judge Rosanna Malouf Peterson sentenced Abundiz to 12 and a half years of prison with an addition of five years of court supervision following his release, according to attorney Joseph H Harrington.
This comes after law enforcement officers seized over $4000, ammunition, firearms and a significant amount of meth following multiple search warrants in September 2016.
