Yakima hopes to approve $110K entertainment budget

YAKIMA, Wash. -- Yakima plans to build on its farmers' markets and live entertainment with more attractions downtown.

City Council is considering spending $110,000 next year.

It would be spent on increased security, more parking and entertainment.
Yakima plans to expand the Fresh Hop Ale Fest, the Cultural Concert Series, Spring Barrel Arts Fest and other activities.

Yakima will vote on it next month.
